Shit, quick, act like you weren’t expecting this.
At this evening’s conference held in New York, Sony announced that a smaller version of the PlayStation 4 will be released next Thursday (September 15th) for £259.
The console (which totally wasn’t already on sale in CEX a fortnight ago) also comes bundled with a redesigned Dualshock 4 controller.
If you’ve yet to pick up a PlayStation 4, and the freshly revealed PlayStation 4: Pro isn’t appealing to you, this is a great way of picking up arguably the best current gen console for a very reasonable price.
Plus, there’s not a trace of that horrible reflective plastic on this model, so you don’t have to worry about having half your console covered in disgusting, jam smelling finger prints.
Not that my PS4 is covered in jam smelling finger prints. Just an example. A random example.
